Little Heroes is making rapid progressions. Due to limited time and space, our first blind playtest of the game won't be happening until Wednesday of next week (8 days away), so we're a bit stalled until then. The art process is continuing as ever, although there may be news on that front in the near future.
In the mean time, we're working on another game: Mecha Mayhem. That's the stand-in name, anyway.
It's another card-based game but this one isn't a co-op. It's a free-for-all brawl with machine warriers, which each player must assemble. Players scrap over the same pieces in a bid to make the best robot. It's a bit like the TV program Scrapheap Challenge. So if you loved that, you'll love this!
There's also a possible iPhone/iPad app planned for the year. However, that will be limited on the success of Little Heroes and (most likely) Mecha Mayhem. If both go well we'll be able to expand the company into the region of apps. After all, the aim is to be a fully fledged gaming company.
So it's exciting times and a lot planned! It'll be quiet for the next week or so in the buildup to the first blind playtest, so there'll be regular blog posts about the basics of creating a game. Just in case any of you guys are curious and have no idea where to start! :)
